Well, you are probably wondering what the big deal is, since it just looks like a bunch of crepes, right? Well, you are right, but the beauty likes in the simplicity.  Simple pleasures are sometimes life treasures. The treasure this dish brings to me is the nostalgia of waking up on a Sunday morning when my mother had prepared these. These are nothing more than crepes, with a spoonful of apple butter swirled on them, then rolled up.  These are re sooo good!

In case you are wondering, this is a very Eastern European treat, and while my mother used apple butter, they can be rolled with any thick fruit jam, or soft, sweet cottage cheese and fruit and/or nuts. A Hungarian version includes layers, then it is sliced and served.
